Agbara Community Celebrates Commissioning of Newly Constructed Road

A landmark event took place in Agbara, Ogun State, on January 16, 2025, as the newly constructed gbara internal road which stretches from Agbara bus stop down to Ilashe including Odan Agbara with street light was officially commissioned. The ceremony, attended by distinguished guests, including Commissioner Samuel Ayedogbon, Commissioner Lai Taiwo, and Hon. Musefiu Olatunji, marked a significant milestone in the development of Agbara and its surrounding communities.

The Agbara Market Road, a vital artery for commerce and transportation, had long been in need of repair and modernization. Senator Solomon O. Adeola facilitated its reconstruction as part of his commitment to improving the living conditions of his constituents in Ogun State.

According to Prince Agunbiade Wasiu, also known as Yayi Agbara, the project aimed to enhance accessibility, ease the movement of goods and people, and stimulate economic activities around the Agbara market area. He expressed gratitude to the community for their patience and support during the construction phase.

The newly commissioned road is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion, boost commercial activities, and improve the overall quality of life for residents and traders in the area. This achievement underscores Senator Solomon O. Adeola’s dedication to fulfilling his promises and delivering tangible benefits to the people of Ogun State.

The epoch-making event was also graced by Babaloja of Agbara, Iyaloja of Agbara, Elemosho of Agbara and Aro of Agbara. Others were Commissioner Samuel Ayedogbon, Commissioner Lai taiwo, Hon. Musefiu Olatunji (EBE) member Ogun State House of Assembly assembly representing good people of ado/odo-ota 11 constituent, Alh Azeez Ekueme APC Ogun west senatorial chairman, Hon. Bankole Solomon (senior legislative aide, to the president of the senate)P, rince Ayo-Akanbi, Alh Wasiu Agunbiade (Yayi Agbara), Hon. Olaleye Azeez jidah (super) and other political and community leaders, market women, traders, and residents, who celebrated the project as a much-needed transformation. Many lauded Senator Adeola for his proactive approach to addressing the infrastructural challenges in the region.
