Ambassador Wuhe Dumps PDP For PRP

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart in Benue, Ambassador Philip Wuhe, has dumped PDP for the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

Wuhe disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Sunday in Makurdi.

He further disclosed that he dumped the party because it did not give him a fair treatment despite being her diehard member and laboured for it for long.

“I wanted to contest State Assembly election on the platform of the PDP because I was favoured by zoning.

“But unfortunately, the zoning arrangement was later manipulated in favour of someone from Mbakaange Council Ward of Vandeikya Local Government Area of the state instead of the Township council ward where I belong.

“It is because of the reason I advanced earlier and other sundry reasons that compelled me to seek for an alternative platform to enable me actualize my political ambition,” Wuhe said.

He boasted that he would win the Tiev State Assembly election in 2023 because the masses were with him and his new party too had formidable political structures .

He reiterated that the masses were fully in support of his ambition, pointing out that his aspiration would enjoy support across party lines.

“I am a man of the people. I interact with them freely regardless of party affiliation, as such they are willing to work relentlessly for my success.

“I personally constructed classroom blocks for so many schools within my constituency, Tiev to be precise.

“I also built Churches and opened up feeder roads. All these I did for my people years back without thinking of contesting election someday,” he said.

He stated that he was a very bold person who was ready and willing to fight for any just cause, stressing that as such the PDP leaders in his area were afraid of him.
