Benue State Public Procurement Commission DG Honoured with Prestigious Award
In a momentous occasion, Engr. Dr. Comfort Adadu, Director General of the Benue State Public Procurement Commission, has been honoured with the Most Outstanding Director General of the Year 2024/2025 award by the Legislative Writers Forum, National Assembly, Abuja.
According to BSPPC information officer, Ageda Sylvia Mngohol, the award presentation ceremony took place at the Commission’s office, where Engr. Dr. Adadu expressed heartfelt gratitude and attributed her success to divine grace. “Whatever I am today is by God’s grace,” she humbly stated.
Presenting the award, Mr. Abraham Ogwaje commended Engr. Dr. Adadu for her dedication to promoting transparency and accountability in public procurement. He also applauded the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for creating an enabling environment for her to thrive.
As Director General, Engr. Dr. Adadu has played a pivotal role in transforming procurement processes across the state, fostering strategic partnerships, and championing capacity-building initiatives.
The recognition is a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence and her tireless efforts to align public procurement practices in Benue State with global standards.
