BSPPC DG Inspects Renovation Of Commissioner’s Quarters

The Director General of the Benue State Public Procurement Commission (BSPPC), Engr. Dr. Akwonya Comfort Adadu, on Wednesday, carried out a project monitoring visit to the Commissioner’s Quarters in Makurdi, to assess the ongoing renovation work.
According to BSPPC Information Officer, Mngohol Ageda, the project, which is being handled by Darramore Nig. Ltd, is progressing steadily, with the contractor strictly adhering to the specifications approved by the Commission.
During the inspection, Dr. Adadu expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, highlighting the installation of solar-powered streetlights, CCTV cameras, and boreholes drilled in each block of the quarters.
The contractor, Mr. Aondongu Emmanuel, assured that only quality materials—such as movable shelves, gipson boards, and modern electrical fittings—are being used for the renovation.
“We are committed to delivering quality work to the State, and we will always follow due diligence in the execution of our projects,” Mr. Emmanuel affirmed.
The DG’s visit underscores the Commission’s commitment to promoting transparency and accountability in public procurement.
This renovation initiative is part of the Benue State government’s broader efforts to enhance the welfare and living standards of its workforce.
