CAF Confederation Cup: Tanzania’s Young Africans to storm Uyo Thursday for Rivers United clash

Tanzanian champions, Young Africans will arrive in Uyo on Thursday for Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final tie against Rivers United.

According to information on the club’s official website, the players and their officials will depart Dar es Salaam via an Ethiopian airline on Thursday morning.

Goalkeeper, Abutwalib Hamad Mshery will miss the game as a result of injury.

Mali international Mamadou Doumbia will link up with his teammates in Addis Ababa after attending the funeral of his father.

Rivers United will host the Citizen in the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The reverse fixture is billed for the Benjamin Nkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Sunday, April 30.
