The Oyo State Government has announced the commencement of a re-verification exercise for property owners and claimants affected by the acquisition of lands along the first segment of the Ibadan Circular Road.

The government stated that the re-verification exercise would cover landed property in the Alago and Ajota areas.

Our correspondent reports that the exercise began on Sunday at Islamic High School, Basorun, Ibadan, and is expected to conclude on Saturday, December 22, 2024.

The Executive Assistant (Security) to Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr. Sunday Odukoya, made these declarations in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Monday.

Odukoya explained that the exercise aims to capture data for about three thousand (3,000) property owners and claimants affected in the area.

He added that the re-verification process would ensure that compensation is paid to the rightful property owners and claimants
