Dangote Group Sponsors 2025 Nasarawa Trade Fair

In a strategic partnership to boost economic development in Nasarawa State, the Dangote Group has announced its sponsorship of the 2025 Nasarawa Trade Fair Exhibition, set to officially open on Wednesday in Lafia, the state capital.
According to the Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI), Nasarawa State Chapter, Nidan Sambo Manasseh, the event will be formally declared open by the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule.
Manasseh noted that the Trade Fair is being jointly organized by NASSI and the Nasarawa State Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture, and Industries.
The theme of this year’s fair is: “Investing in Nasarawa’s Future: Fostering Economic Development Through Mineral and Agricultural Cottage Industrialization.”
Describing the fair as a pivotal driver of the state’s economic progress, Manasseh said: “The Nasarawa Trade Fair Exhibition (NASTFE) is a vital catalyst for the State’s economic transformation. This strategic initiative by NASSI directly aligns with Governor Abdullahi Alhaji Sule’s vision to stimulate investment and unlock significant growth.”
In a statement, the Chief Branding and Communication Officer of the Dangote Group, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, emphasized the company’s commitment to the state’s economic agenda. “Nasarawa State is central to our overall investment in Nigeria. It is home to Dangote’s Nasarawa Sugar Company Limited (NSCL). The sugar project, when completed, will be one of the biggest sugar investments on the African continent,” he stated.
Also speaking on the partnership, the Senior Special Adviser to the President of Dangote Group, Mrs. Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, noted the company’s strong presence at the fair. “We are not taking this partnership for granted. Our Strategic Business Units (SBUs) are also participating,” she said.
Mrs. Abdurrahman listed some of the participating SBUs to include: Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN), Dangote SinoTruck, Dangote Sugar Refinery, Dangote Salt (NASCON), and Dangote Cement, among others.
She explained that the Trade Fair provides a unique opportunity for the company to engage directly with stakeholders and potential business partners. A special Help Desk will be set up at the company’s pavilion to handle inquiries and receive feedback from participants.
She encouraged attendees to visit the Dangote pavilion and explore the company’s array of innovative products.
