EGBE IDIMU LCDA CONGRATULATES SAMO FOR EMERGING THE CDA CHAIRMAN OF GLORYLAND ESTATE

The Egbe Idimu Local Council Development area has congratulated the Residents of the Gloryland Estate Community for electing the new Executive Chairman of the Community Development Association( CDA) as Seyi Sambo and members of the Executives.

The Executive Chairman for the Egbe Idimu LCDA,Hon.Kunle Sanyaolu who was represented by the Vice Chairman of the council,Hon Mutiu Adebiyi declared this by the weekend during the Glory Land Estate CDA election held within the community at Isheri Olofin,that the election exercise was perfectly conducted as the community demonstrated the true democracy in the exercise . He expressed that what they needed to do next was to call on the Local Government now so as to have an inauguration ceremony with the new Executives.

He urged the two contestants of the Community Development Association( CDA ) to note that this mantle of leadership in the community was the call to service to the humanity that attract no salary,and actually to sustain mutual understanding. He advised them further to rock together for the development of the community without any quarrel.

The Newly emerged CDA Chairman of GloryLand Estate,Isheri Olofin of Egbe Idimu LCDA,Engr. Seyi Samo said he was happy for everyone in Gloryland Estate,because “I know it is a victory for all of us and I know it is the beginning of new development in this estate. I always told them to welcome to a new dawn”
However,I know that the populace are happy about the result of today’s election”.

Engineer Samo stated that the 3major things he neede to bring on board before the government as projects and part of the major challenge 1st is Electricity, to improve on the community Security and Roads in the Estate.

“Am not going to do it alone,I will do it with my people as one big family . am going to work together as a team because it is not what I can do alone”.

I know my people are always cooperating when it comes to development in the estate. We have to team up together for the greatness of our estate”.

Samo said that the community now had not had the impact of the government in the estate,but its looking forward to the government assistance and support through the Local government, to the State government.

“We don’t have budget from government to developing our roads”.

He therefore called on the inhabitants of the estate in his message that they should realise that the success of the CDA election today was as a result of the cooperation of everybody that his office of the CDA Chairman is open to all inhabitants who have suggestion of things to do in their area.

The Former CDA Chairman Gloryland Estate,TPL Olumide Adewale commended the Community EXCO for the success and large turn out in the present election in the CDA,as it was a very big improvement than the ones in the past.

He charged the current executive to learn from the past as the CDA that would achieve progress.

Adewale emphasized that his past experience in the CDA taught him that the idea of the CDA was to bring the government near to the people so as to have her access “for we tried our best to get few things from the government when our persistence was not enough because when people have a good representation they can move the mountain but in our time the people were not serious in the community to represent. He emphasized.

He urged the new exco to ensure that they are serious to have good representation in the community to reach the Local and State government in this tenure,that one time to approach the government in anything was not enough to get government impression .

Adewale said the community has to keep on persisting until it receives government response. ” I remember the regime of former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola,until when we tried 6 to 7 times for 9 months before the government showed up to listen to their plight. He said if you do not press you don’t get.
