Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has told the club to sign attacker, Ivan Toney as Gabriel Jesus’ replacement at the Emirates.
Jesus, who joined Arsenal from Manchester City last summer, is out injured and is expected back in two months’ time.
Prior to his injury, the Brazilian had scored five goals and made six assists in 14 Premier League games.
In his absence, the Gunners only have one striker Eddie Nketiah as a No. 9 and perhaps need to sign a striker in January.
And Parlour believes Toney could perfectly replace Jeses at the club.
He told Lord Ping, “I still believe in Ivan Toney. I really liked the way he plays. He’s always on people’s shoulders. We all know he’s been brilliant for Brentford this season.
” It would be something different for Gareth. I thought he would have been if he could start games
