OKOAFO-ILOGBO ROAD: CONSTRUCTION ENTERS COMPACTING STAGE; SIGNS OF RELIEF RADIATE ON RESIDENTS
The ongoing road and drainage construction on Okoafo-Ilogbo road in Olorunda LCDA has entered compacting stage, signalling the propinquity of a new era of normalcy for residents and commuters in the axis.
With the drainage construction by the Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde (SAMOLA)-led government of the Council now facing Oke-ira and Market roads in Ilogbo-eremi and engineers from the Lagos State Public Works Corporation progressing beyond earth and baseworks during the week, passers-by could barely contain their appreciation of their beloved Council Chairman and the pacesetting Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
Some of the extolments heard from passers-by were;
“Thank you Samola, you are doing very well and we appreciate this”.
“Finally, Thank you Governor Sanwo-Olu, thank you Samola”, another voice echoed.
“This is long overdue, the thought of what is coming is a big relief in itself”, a bolder voice said from a small crowd.
