Tarka LG Chairman Hosts Gov Alia’s Aide, Support Group Leaders In Solidarity Visit

The Executive Chairman of Tarka Local Government Council, Hon. Yenge Raphael Aondoaseer, recently welcomed a high-profile delegation led by Hon. Francis Ngutswen, Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Benue State on Special Groups Mobilization, alongside executive members of various support groups and associations.

The visit, held last weekend, was a gesture of solidarity aimed at affirming support for Hon. Yenge in his new role as chairman of Tarka Local Government Council.

Hon. Ngutswen, speaking on behalf of the delegation, congratulated Hon. Yenge on his election and pledged unwavering support from the Office of Special Groups and Associations. He expressed confidence in Hon. Yenge’s leadership, emphasizing their readiness to collaborate towards the success of his administration.

Other prominent members of the delegation, including Dr. Solomon Iorshaeger, Hon. Stephen Selu, and Hon. Donatus Terlumun Ashwe, echoed similar sentiments. They commended the chairman’s vision and assured him of their commitment to supporting his developmental agenda.

In his response, Hon. Yenge attributed his emergence as chairman to divine providence and lauded the delegation for their solidarity. He described them as his “immediate family” and reiterated his administration’s focus on the welfare and development of the people of Tarka Local Government.

Hon. Yenge highlighted some of his administration’s early achievements, including the renovation of the chairman’s lodge and offices and the repair of two transformers, as part of efforts to improve infrastructure. He called for continued support from the support groups and the people of Mbakor to enable him to deliver transformative progress in the local government.
