Fielding questions from journalists Tuesday in his office on his achievements so far, Numbeve said he contracted Viable Nigeria Ltd which has finished designing 300-kilometre roads while efforts were on to embark on the remaining 200-kilometre roads to complete their target of 500-kilometre roads.

“We have finished general roads design for 300 kilometers. We will be embarking on the remaining 200 before the week runs out. This is one of the major milestones in my administration here”, he stated.

The RAAMP state coordinator said he was galvanizing funds from international communities down to Benue and there after, he will put engineers on their toes and then look at warehouses and other projects.

“This office has a lot to do with funds and these funds are gotten from international development associations. counterpart is duly paid by the state but chunk of it comes from the international development associations. So, as soon as roads design funds are disbursed, we will move to site and start a serious work.

“We have been going round visiting roads to see the road networks, to see how terrible and how good they are. We are in the engine room and a lot is cooking”, Numbeve assured

Benue people will feel RAAMP under your administration just like the Niger people are feeling it, just like the Bauchi people are feeling it. We pray that you are more focused than ever so that Benue people will feel you, the masses will feel you even much more than they are doing at the moment”.

“Let us be sincere to ourselves, if not for these skirmishes that we are having, this herdsmen attacks and some security challenges, honestly, having witnessed the last four administrations, I will give His Excellency more than 80 for what he has done. Look at the issue of civil servants, pensioners, the projects that are ongoing in Makurdi alone. I don’t want to take you far. When have we experienced any serious project on ground here in the state? The man has done massively well and for us as civil servants, we appreciate him what he is doing for the state”, the director said.
