Good name, they say is better than silver and gold. This adage applied suitably to the distinguished senator representing Benue South senatorial district, Comrade Patrick Abba Moro, on Sunday, April 16, 2023, when new-born twins of the Adutu Obi in Benue State, HRH Chris Ijale, were dedicated to God at St Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

One of the dedicated twins was named Patrick after Senator Patrick Abba Moro for being like a father and member of the family by virtue of his benevolence to them and his contributions to the development of the Igede nation in general according to HRH Ijale.

Former member representing Oju State constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly and former Deputy Majority Leader of the House, Rt Hon. Nick Eworo, corroborated the monarch of Obi, HRH Chris Ijale, when he described Sen. Moro as a proud son of the Igede nation irrespective of the political divide. He acknowledged that Moro has contributed immensely to the success of Adutu Obi hence he deserved the highest honour and recognition in the land accorded him.

Senator Abba Moro who has been reelected for a second term and the only PDP senatorial candidate in Benue State who came out victorious in the just concluded general elections said, it takes only a good person to attract the kind of mammoth crowd that graced the dedication ceremony both at the church and at the reception revenue.

He asserted that people gain everything from humility, they don’t gain anything from arrogance, the reason why he has been supportive to the Adutu and his family, pointing out that HRH Ijale has shown uncommon humility to him over the years.
