COVID-19: Lagos State Government Extends Covid-19 Relief Stimulus Package, Fumigation And Sensitization Campaign To Riverine Community In The State

Lagos State Government Riverine Stimulus Team On Covid-19 Delivered Packages To Riverine Communities of Epe and Badagry Division respectively.

The Volunteers team also Carried Out Extensive Fumigation Exercise To Disinfect the Entire Riverine Communities.

The Inhabitants were Sensitized on the Preventive Measures And The Hygienic Ways To Combat The Pandemic Covid-19.

The Governor said everybody in Lagos State will be carried along in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic and the Riverine Areas are inclusive.

The Riverine Volunteers Team on Covid-19 of Epe and Badagry Areas is being coordinated by Prince Taye Oyefolu (Town Crier).

He said the Awareness and Fumigation exercise in the Riverine Areas is to prevent the spread of the virus. “We all know that awareness mean prevention. Once people know that something is dangerous to human health they tend to avoid it. So at this junction, we can only thank the Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo- Olu for being proactive on this incident and the good gesture extended to the Riverine Communities of Lagos State”, he concluded.

The Volunteer team enjoins our people to continue to abide by the preventive measures of NCDC and obey all government rules on COVID-19.
