Senator Adebule distribute food items, clothes to 10,000 constituents, says Tinubu is on the journey for economic rebirth.
A member of the National Assembly, Senator Oluranti Adebule has solicited continued support for President Bola Tinubu as the country go through what she terned a rebirth for economic posterity and social justice.
She also believe that Nigeria has no business with economic failure going by the abundant human and material resources the nation is blessed with.
Senator Adebule stated these at the distribution of food palliatives and clothes to 10,000 residents of Lagos West Senatorial District held at the Police College, Ikeja.
The federal lawmaker said that the hight cost of living being experienced is a global phenomenon and not perculiar to Nigeria adding it is a matter of responsibility to support Lagos West at this trying times.
She also thanked them for the vote of confidence in her during the 2023 general elections.
Senator Adebule highlighted other programmes for the constituents which include s upport to farmers, Training at the School of Oceanography for Marine Economy in Nigeria.
In his goodwill message, APC Apex leader in Badagry Division, Prince Rabiu Oluwa said that the people of Lagos West made no mistake in given their mandate to Senator Adebule.
According to him, her impact had been felt in various sectors like Education, Social Welfare, Empowerment, Vocational Training and Health care during the short time spent in the National Assembly.
On his part, the APC Chairman Lagos State chapter, Hon Cornelius Ojelabi thanked Nigerians for their perseverance with the President over the current state of the economy.
He said that he is optimistic that President Tinubu and his team will soon overcome the economic challenges in the country.
Ojelabi was of the view that the initiative was in fulfilment of promise made and kept for the people of Lagos West Senatorial District.
According to him, that she remember the people she is representing was done out of passion to them and appealed to those in charge of the distribution not to divert the items.
The APC chairman also appealed to members of the party in the West senatorial district to bury their differences to enhance the succes of the party in future elections.
Some of the beneficiaries of the food itmes distributed including Rice, Beans, Semovita, Vegetable oil, Pasta and Tomatoe paste are the Artisans, religious bodies, Police and Army barracks, traditional rulers and party leaders.
